1. Data controller

At Bramming Plast-Industri A/S, we take the processing of your personal data seriously, and we always strive to comply with applicable data protection legislation, including in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act (Databeskyttelsesloven). When you visit our website, interact with us on social media, write to us or are otherwise in contact with us, we are the ‘data controller’ for the processing of the personal data we receive.

2. What personal data do we process and for what purpose

Depending on your relationship with us, we process your personal data in different ways and for different purposes. Below, you can read what is applicable to each specific purpose.

a. Subscription to our newsletter

The purpose of our newsletter is to update customers and visitors with business news, product or project information and new product releases. When you subscribe to our newsletter via LinkedIn or Facebook, you consent to receiving e-mails from us containing digital marketing in accordance with section 10(1) of the Danish Marketing Practices Act (Markedsføringsloven).

You can withdraw your consent to receive newsletters (unsubscribe) at any time. You can click on the link at the bottom of the newsletter to unsubscribe from the newsletter directly, or you can contact us using the contact details above and we will unsubscribe you manually.

The general personal data you provide at the time of subscription are processed on the basis of our legitimate interests, see Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

We will erase your data related to receiving the newsletter no later than two years after you have unsubscribed. This is to meet consent documentation requirements under the Danish Marketing Practices Act.

If your data have been registered in our CRM as part of a customer relationship, they will generally be erased within five years after the most recent activity.

We reserve the right to unsubscribe users/visitors from our newsletter without notice, for example in the context of fraud or false information.

b. Job applicant

We process the data, including personal data, contained in your application and your CV in order to assess your application. We will also evaluate and assess your performance and competencies as a result of an interview. We process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, see Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

We recommend that you do not include confidential or sensitive personal data in your application, e.g. information that reveals your civil registration (CPR) number, racial or ethnic background, religion, union membership, sexuality, health information etc. If, exceptionally, employment in a particular post imposes special health requirements, we will – following a specific assessment – ask for your consent to process such information, see Article 9(2)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

As a rule, we erase received applications no later than six months after the position is filled. If you are taken on by Bramming Plast-Industri A/S, your application and CV will be stored as part of your personnel file.

c. Social media (LinkedIn and Facebook)

The purpose of collecting data from LinkedIn and Facebook is to answer your enquiry to Bramming Plast-Industri A/S submitted via the contact form regarding one of our products highlighted on LinkedIn or Facebook.

When you comment, share or respond to our organic and sponsored posts, your name and public profile will appear in our posts. In our sponsored posts, we invite our target audience to complete a contact form, which includes the following: name, phone number, email. If you complete the contact form, your data will be registered internally in our CRM.

We process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, see Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
If your data are registered in our CRM, they will generally be erased within five years after the most recent activity.

d. The BPI website (www.bpi.dk)

We only deal with business customers, and we ask you to give your work email and work phone number when completing the contact form or otherwise contacting us. Bramming Plast-Industri A/S encourages you not to disclose private personal data and, in general, confidential or sensitive personal data.

Contact form
The following business data can be provided in the contact form: Name, company, telephone number, email, area of interest and comments in the free-text field.

We use the contact form to allow us to respond to approaches from our business customers and to provide the best possible service in a professional way and, importantly, to answer our customers’ questions.
We process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, see Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

If your data are registered in our CRM, they will generally be deleted within five years after the most recent activity.

Cookies
In order to enrich and improve your online experience, Bramming Plast-Industri A/S uses cookies, as well as similar technologies and services offered by third parties, to display personal content, customise advertisements and store your preferences on your computer. e. Customers and suppliers

We process personal data about our business customers and suppliers, primarily in the form of business contact details of the customer’s employees, for the purpose of delivering our products and services. We process personal data either on the basis of the contract or agreement entered into with the customer, see Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, on the basis of a legal obligation, see Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (e.g. the Danish Bookkeeping Act (Bogføringsloven)), or on the basis of our legitimate interests, see Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

As a rule, general contact details are deleted no later than five years after the end of the customer relationship. However, names and contact details may appear in contract documents etc. that are archived in files beyond the five years.

2. Recipients

Your personal data may be shared with partners or third parties – so-called ‘data processors’ – who provide services for Bramming Plast-Industri A/S on our behalf. This concerns the following categories of data processors:

  • Providers of IT services and IT systems
  • Auditors
  • Business partners or third parties in connection with marketing

Your personal data will not be shared with or disclosed to data processors or data controllers outside the EU/EEA.

3. Deletion

We have established internal deletion deadlines for the processing of the various forms of personal data, see the deletion deadlines specified under the above processing purposes.

4. Your rights

As an individual, you have the opportunity to contact us and exercise the following rights free of charge:

  • You have the right to access your personal data.
  • You have the right to object to the collection and further processing of your personal data.
  • You have the right to rectification or deletion of your personal data.
  • You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
  • In certain circumstances, you may ask to receive a copy of your personal data and to have your personal data transferred to another data controller (data portability).
  • If you believe that our processing of your personal data does not comply with the data protection legislation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency. See contact details etc. at www.datatilsynet.dk.

5. Changes to the privacy policy

Although most changes are likely to be of a minor nature, Bramming Plast-Industri A/S may from time to time change this Privacy Policy as it sees fit. Bramming Plast-Industri A/S encourages visitors to regularly check this page for any changes to the Privacy Policy.
